It shouldn't really make any difference though what sort of connection you have as long as your internet is working normally without Witopia connected (i.e. you can surf pages as usual). I've use Witopia in many countries without any issues but you might want to check the PPPoE settings for your China Telecom connection. Make sure it's persistently connected constantly before trying to connect to Witopia. I use China Telecom also.
